About Us

 Mimi’s Kennels started with our quest to get a new dog for our daughter. After doing careful research we realized that the Yorkie was the breed for us. We loved and enjoyed our first Yorkie so much. Everyone who’s ever met her has loved her. For the last 9 years, we have been breeding and sharing these remarkable dogs with family, friends and other wonderful people. 

We started breeding American Staffordshire Terriers for the same reasons. We have had several over many years. They have been some of our most loving pets. We just want to share them with others and hope they love them just as much as we do!

 Our Yorkies and American Staffordshire Terriers are raised as part of our family until they go with their forever families.   They’re raised in our home, with our other family pets and children. They’re loved and socialized. They’re affectionate and playful. They are raised in a clean, comfortable setting.
